For an organization’s information technology, infrastructure management is the management of all operational components, such as policies, processes, equipment, data, human capital, and external contacts. The purpose of infrastructure management is to help an organization reduce the duplication of effort, ensure that standards and guidelines are followed across all platforms, ensure that data can flow as seamlessly as possible throughout all connected systems, promote change and process improvement, ensure interoperability between systems, and ensure that change management put into place and followed. It also contains processes for up-time tracking, monitoring, and constant evaluation to increase user productivity.

Datacenter
- Datacenter Server Refresh: Replaced all depreciated servers in 50 local office data centers across the country
- UPS Refresh: Swapped 130 UPS units nationwide with the latest models and extended batteries, including power upgrades where needed
- Datacenter Virtualization: Reduced 170 servers in 50 nationwide local datacenters down to a single physical host per location
- Local Datacenter Backup: Managed EMC Avamar implementation as a centralized data backup solution for 50 office locations
- Data Archive Project: Deployed 50 servers in office locations to house old data, and managed the associated file server cleanup project
- Printer/Copier Replacement and Refresh: Replaced/refreshed of over 150 multi-function printers and copiers nationwide
- Riverbed Implementation: Rolled out Riverbed WAN optimization appliances for all 50 local office datacenters
- Implemented and managed server patching methodology and related security operations tasks
- Architected, integrated, deployed and managed the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environment for servers
- Led asset management efforts to track and manage server and datacenter infrastructure

- Deployed Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 and the compatibility assessment/integration readiness of 500+ applications along with the upgrades
